Project 12
Project 12 is an ongoing eco-social arts initiative led by Kok Heng Leun, exploring the future of sustainable living on Pulau Ubin. This is also Drama Box’s endeavour to reimagine art making in response to the current climate crisis. Our journey began in October 2022, with our team actively immersed in preliminary research and groundwork. This multi-faceted project involving residents, stakeholders and artists includes artist residency programs, arts-based community-building activities, eco arts practices, an audio tour with visual art installations, and more.
At its heart, Project 12 is a community in the making, inviting diverse contributions. Whether you're interested in sponsorship opportunities, or contributing your insights on Pulau Ubin or eco-sustainable arts practices, or volunteering on future projects, there's a place for you. Join us in creating a shared space on the island for artists and residents to exchange ideas and foster mutual learning.
